JUDO FOR BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU - 5 DAY COURSE

Join us for a 5 day Judo for BJJ short course during the club’s annual Christmas closure. The course will be run by Melissa Dennehy – BJJ purple belt, 2nd dan judo black belt and technical judo coach at Australia’s 2nd largest judo club, UWA Judo.

This short course will cover leg attacks and foot sweeps, with a new throw introduced each day to build on and create combination attacks with techniques learnt in previous days. All techniques will cover transitions to the ground to either a side control, leg lock or half guard to guard pass position.

Participants are expected to attend all classes for maximum benefit, and minimum numbers will be required for the course to run. This is available to all members ages 12 and up. Break falling will not be covered, so you must be proficient and comfortable in falling safely from a standing position
