Some of the BEST in the World!

We are proud to have some of the BEST No-Gi Grapplers in the World training right out of our very own AMMA GYM's Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Team.

Both coach Adam and coach Adele travelled to California to compete in the IFBJJ No-Gi World Championships last weekend.

This was Adam's first time competing in this tournament and Adele was looking to secure a World Title as part of her end of year circuit.

Adam took on the #1 seeded competitor first round and won via a dominant bout securing some points early in the battle. Adam later went down to the #2 seeded player in the final 40 seconds losing by an advantage and bringing home the Silver Medal.

Adele had a magic run into the finals submitting her opponents. Her final bout was a war and Adele secured a take down in the last minute to win the Gold and bring home a World Title.

We are super proud of both of our coaches and are happy to be able to stand along side the best in the world.
